Alamance unemployment drops to 4 percent in July



Unemployment in Burlington and Alamance County fell two-tenths of a percentage point, from 4.2 percent in June, to 4 percent in July, according to preliminary figures released Wednesday, Aug. 29, by the N.C. Department of Commerce.
